Naval Air Facility (NAF) El Centro, CA

As the prime contractor on this project, GCE repaired of the waste system and repairs to berthing bathrooms, access routes and common area restroom located at Building 270 that were non-compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. Construction activities included: ADA compliant renovations, branch sewer repairs, demolition, laundry room repairs, plumbing, electrical, and wall and ceiling finishes.

Additional work on this project consisted of repairing, replacing, and/or installing new backflow preventers to numerous buildings. Work included, but was not limited to field verifying, excavation to expose water services, installing plumbing and backflow assemblies, testing and certifying of new installations. Backflow prevention construction work was performed at 23 locations at NAF El Centro.
